About

Hi, I’m Terry Crowley, a professional editor and freelance writer with a Certificate in Professional Editing from UC Berkeley (2019). As a writer, I specialize in local history. As an editor, I bring professional training and a meticulous eye to a wide variety of projects, having edited everything from nonfiction books and memoirs to academic journal articles and children’s books.

My history articles have appeared in The Retrospect (Collingswood, NJ), Good Old Days magazine, The Camden County Historical Society Communicator, Pennsylvania Heritage magazine, and Retrospective: The Essential Memory Lane Collection, Volume II. I also share stories about the Sunshine State on my Florida history blog at www.tercrowley.com .

Prior to launching my professional writing and editing career, I spent more than thirty years in the accounting field. As a CPA, I continue to provide strategic tax consulting services for corporate clients. This background gives me a unique, exceptionally disciplined approach to detail and structure, which I bring to every business, technical, or creative editing project I take on.

I am a graduate of Rutgers University, and I divide my time between Cherry Hill, NJ, and Boca Raton, FL.
